St James Priory

St James Priory is the oldest building in Bristol that is still in use today and as such it is a monument of immense historical and architectural importance. Robert Fitzroy, Earl of Gloucester and illegitimate grandson of William the Conqueror, founded the Priory of St James in 1129 and it has been used as a place of worship for 900 years. Even better for Be More Musical's purposes is that it has a wonderful acoustic and is an enchanting place in which to make music.
